This bay pinto gelding is imported from Iceland where he received his training; this does make his price higher. Hottur is a friendly five-gaited horse with lots of speed; not surprisingly he has been used as a competition horse in Iceland and also performed at the Equitana USA 1997 International Show. Hottur is nice looking and large, with an abundance of mane and tail. He is a flashy horse (Not surprisingly, famous show horse Kiljan is his father.) with nice movements and a willing attitude – and an ideal family and show horse. Hottur has been taken on trips to promote the Icelandic horse in the states, with young riders as well as beginning adults riding him.
